The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
